MJ-7 Gnatsum SAL #108 - G-BEFU

 Le MJ-7 G-BEFU a été construit par William E. WILKS en 1978, sur des plans S.A.L. avec le numéro 108. Il était motorisé avec un moteur 6 cylindres en ligne inversé Ranger 6-440-C5 de 200 cv à refroisissement à air.

Cette réplique au 2/3 du P51 Mustang s'est tragiquement crashé au Manchester Airshow de Barton le 15 mai 1983 lors d'un tonneau à basse vitess et basse altitude en fin de représentation.

 The MJ-7 G-BEFU was built by William E. WILKS in 1978, based on S.A.L. plans, with serial number 108. It was powered by a 200 hp inverted inline 6-cylinder Ranger 6-440-C5 engine, air-cooled.

This 2/3 scale replica of the P-51 Mustang tragically crashed at the Manchester Airshow in Barton on May 15, 1983, during a low-speed, low-altitude roll at the end of the display.
