Its maiden flight took place on December 4, 1978, followed by around twenty flight hours dedicated to test flights, which were successfully concluded on April 1, 1979. A few months later, on June 2, 1979, the aircraft proudly received its certificate of airworthiness. This Sirocco was built with a fixed landing gear and powered by a 150 hp Lycoming engine, which gave it the designation MJ-5-G1. Up front, it was equipped with a Sensenich metal propeller, adding a touch of proven reliability to the package. On September 30, 1995, the Sirocco made its final flight, from Bresso to Trento, where it was donated to the Gianni Caproni Aeronautical Museum — a fitting retirement for such a unique machine. Does anyone have a recent photo to share?
